BJP maintains its hold in North East with an eye on 2024

The North East [Assam(14), Arunachal Pradesh(2), Manipur(2), Meghalaya(2), Tripura(2), Mizoram(1), Nagaland(1)] consists of 24 Lok Sabh seats, and BJP led coalition has majority in every state except Mizoram.

Moreover, the recently announced result of assembly elections in three states of Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Tripura has showed that BJP is still the favourite.

In 2019, the NDA (and/or BJP) won 16 out of the 24 seats in the NE. I think it is safe to predict that they will better this number in #GeneralElection2024.

The NE is a small area with just 24 PCs, but every seat counts as 2024 will go down as the most interesting year in Indian politics.

okay so NDA has successfully managed to take NE out of the grip of INC, and other left and communist parties.
but Even if NDA manages to better their performance of last year, winning NE alone does not guarantee formation of govt.
they need to focus on eastern states and southern states.
